Story Behind a Camera Viewfinder

First time holding a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) Camera, and boy was it expensive. goodbye paycheck

We went to several places to take a few shots, and I've experienced tons of first times; holding up a weighted camera while finding for the perfect shot, sitting on pavement floors or lying down to get bigger subjects, climbing up trees (okay one tree) to look beyond the foliage, and taking shots of many different subjects that I would otherwise never notice if I hadn't had a photography class.

I was first introduced to the burn tool. I had fun burning my own photos.

This was cropped to better place the orchid as the main subject. The grass is also blurred out.

The focus of this shot is the blinding sun. (it was much more blinding at the actual scene) This makes for an imposing shot, with the elongated palm tree stretching so close to the sun.

When will my reflection show...

Warm and friendly, with her eyes crinkled and slightly out of focus.

It's a very smol and very slim watch.

The person is there to give the statues a bit of life, but it's also not quite the focus of this shot, thus the person is cropped and blurred out.

The sky was really purple.

By playing with the colour balance, I increased the blue and put on a cool filter. The overall shot makes it look like the Twin Tower is submerged under the sea. without the sea
